NSB Class 83 (Norwegian: NSB type 83) is a diesel-electric railcar operated by the Norwegian State Railways between 1932 and 1963. Four units were built by Skabo using a Deutsche Werke engine, though later replaced with Hercules engines. The railcars were used on the Voss Line until the electrification in 1954, when they were transferred to the Skreia Line. However, between 1957 and 1961, one car was used between Voss and Myrdal. They were all taken out of service in 1963 when passenger transport on the Skreia Line was terminated.
